Captain Tyler’s Motel has been in operation since 1980 as a family owned facility owned and operated by the Tyler family both in Crisfield and on Smith Island. The motel is located in Crisfield, Maryland – the heart of authentic and charming Eastern Shore waterside living.

Crisfield has also been called “the edge of paradise”, due to its authentic mix of nature and culture: here you get access to countless acres of saltmarsh, wilderness and water trails as well as unique town folk known for their courteous and respectful treatment of visitors

We offer cruises to Smith Island from both Crisfield & Point Lookout, MD. When in season, the cruises from Crisfield departs daily at 12:30pm and Thursdays through Sundays at 10:30am from Point Lookout, MD
