Alice B. Tawes Nursing Home

Alice B. Tawes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is Somerset County’s only not-for-profit facility. With an unmatched reputation for personalized, skilled-nursing care, Tawes consistently receives high marks for quality care in routine surveys conducted by regulatory agencies. 

Residents live in private or semi-private rooms. The nursing home accepts private pay and insured residents, including those eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. 

Each resident’s care is coordinated by a group of professionals – a “Care Planning” team that also includes residents’ family members. Physicians visit residents regularly and skilled nursing coverage is around-the-clock. Rehabilitation therapists, a dietitian, a social worker, and other health-care professionals see residents as needed.
